Johnny Graf and Phil Backllund of Ellensburg Washington are launching a series of Podcasts featuring individuals from our community.  Voices from the Village is where important conversations meet open hearts with an intention to strengthen our communities.  Phil and Johnny host a wide variety of guests that widen perspectives and help to find the common themes in our lives – safety, love, creativity, our uniqueness, and shared community. Our Voices From the Village interview with Carl Nelson, reporter for the North Kittitas County Tribune.  Carl has a unique perspective on our county and its communities. 

Kittitas County Sheriff Clay Myers talks about his view of our community, focusing on law enforcement's role in community improvement, response to natural disasters, and the challenges we face.

Mollie Edson is a long-time Ellensburg resident who has been an entrepreneur, city council member and mayor, business owner, and the force behind Ellensburg Community Radio. 

Russell Colemore is an Ellensburg Restaurant owner, Rotary Club member, and a man that gives a great deal to his community. 

Stephanie is a dynamic force in the Ellensburg community. As an interior designer, she transforms spaces with vision and heart. As an healer, she helps others find balance and clarity. And as a dedicated community organizer, she brings women together to uplift one another and support local businesses.

Judy Sanders is a passionate advocate for the theatre arts in Ellensburg. As an active member of the local theatre scene and a dedicated board member of Ellensburg Community Radio, she brings creativity and connection to everything she does. Judy also hosts Read Along with Grammie, a heartfelt radio program that shares her joy for storytelling.

Dr. Don Solberg has been a vital part of the Ellensburg community since 1980.  His career as a family physician put him in touch with a great many people in the community. His tireless work with the arts, particularly music and theater, have contributed greatly to the success of our community.

Jason Clifton is local street artist specializing in graffiti, portraits, and other graphic art.  His sense of style, color, and form contribute to the success of his work.  He is highly involved in the support of local artists. 

Tylene Carnell is the director of the Helen House in Ellensburg, a place for LGTBQ+ individuals can go to for support  and friendship.  She is a member of Ellensburg's Commission on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.  She is a strong proponent for the marginalized.
